If you seek a night out away from the usual chart music and fancy something more alternative - house, techno, electro, drum and bass - SWG3 Warehouse located close to the motorway in Glasgow's West End (100 Eastvale Place) is a venue you are bound to love!
The studio is an non profit organisation which has been utilised as artists' studios, galleries and hosts some of the best club nights Glasgow! The only warehouse venue in the country has it's own bar, stage and DJ Booth in a space with a whopping 500 capacity!
The club nights are mainly held on a Friday and Saturday night, however, this can vary as the warehouse space is also used for more relaxed live music gigs, fashion shows, poetry clubs and films.
To keep up-to-date with the news on who's playing when, visit the SWG3 Facebook page which is available by clicking here which is consistently updated with details on the various events taking place at the venue.
Ben Pearce, Eats Everything, George Fitzgerald, Jackmaster, MK and Slam are amongst some of the names of DJs that the warehouse has seen!
This short clip shows footage of Glasgow DJ Jackmaster playing on a club night back in 2012! Here you can get an idea of what the venue is like inside with flashing lights and trance strobe effects and as you can see the floor is MASSIVE!
Tickets for club nights will be advertised on the SWG3 Facebook page usually starting from £5 and upwards. Most ticket sales are done through Resident Advisor which can be found here and the Ticket Tailor purchases can be made here for the next huge club event that the warehouse will be hosting 'Electric Frog and Pressure Easter Weekend' where many of the hottest names in house and techno will be appearing across three nights - 3rd, 4th, 5th April - from 21:00 - 03:00!!!
